Rudreshwar Mahadev mandir is a very famous temple in the Almora district of Uttarakhand. As the name suggests, this temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, one of the Hindu God. This temple is re-constructed few years back. However it is one of the oldest temples in the district Almora. This temple is located very near to Bhikyasen and Masi, both are the major markets in the Almora. This temple gives a panoramic view of river Ram Ganga. Every year, numbers of fairs and festivals organized in the campus of the temple.  Maha Shivaratri Mela is one of the biggest fairs celebrated here.
