The company will source the petrol engine from the Nissan Sunny and it will be place under the hood of Renault Duster. Two main reasons of launching of this car with petrol engine is to promote petrol cars if there is higher tax on diesel cars in India in the coming years. Another main reason is to keep the SUV prices lower. Also petrol cars provide great performance in comparison of diesel cars and hence company is eager to launch petrol version of Renault Duster in India. The price of this car will be around Rs 7.5 lakh to Rs 8 lakh and the expected month of accessible of this car is June 2012.
