It was one of the memorable days of my life. My visit to the Lodhi Garden with friends of Salaam Baalak Trust was really a great moment.
It was a great day with children. We played basketball, badminton, cricket with the children. After playing, we enjoyed the food. During the lunch session, Resham Bhatt from Salaam Baalak Trust discussed about the Child Helpline Number 1098. He told about the process of 1098. He also suggested about how to refer a child through 1098. It was a great learning.
After the lunch, we enjoyed ice-cream. It was really a great day.

Bal Sahyog is a famous NGO working on the child development. It is located in the central Delhi and providing shelter home to street and poor children.
There are various opportunities to learn using the volunteer. You can learn about the JJ rule, rights of children and other information regarding child care and child development.
With the volunteer at Bal Sahyog, you can find vast information on child physiology. You can play with them. You can teach them various skills like paper craft, handmade craft, music, dance etc. You can also help to make their assignments.

This meeting was special as I have to discuss second year field work training of IGNOU MSW course with my friend Amit Jain.
At Prayas, Jahangir Puri we met Mr Mukesh Kumar. He is the project manager in the Prayas, Jahangir Puri. We discussed lots of things about the Prayas with him. It was a nice meeting with him.
