• First of all, you need to have a valid email id. Because for online application, email id is must. You can create an email id free. After that visit the website www.passportindia.gov.in.

• At this website, you need to create a user id. You can create it by clicking on New User Register. Fill the form correctly and choose a difficult passport.

• Scan and upload all of your documents required for the passport.

• You will get an application reference number (ARN) that you have to produce your nearest passport seva Kendra.

• The person’s who applied for the passport must have presence at the passport seva Kendra as they will capture your photograph.
